I remember seeing it in the school library, and thinking that it was some Twilight Zone type story, and way too scary. But there was an excerpt from it in our reading textbook, and I was hooked.

I think I read it twice in a row. Such a fun and different story! I need to get this for my kids. It would actually make a very good episode of something like Twilight Zone or Amazing Stories, heck, it would still be a great movie!
